A WORD FROM THE OWNER:

Four (4) generations of my family worked hard to produce quality coffee in the mountains of Puerto Rico. My great-grandfather came to Puerto Rico in the 1900s from Córcega, France and fell in love with the countryside and developed his first farm. This country home is named after my grandmother, Catalina, who was my grandfather's inspiration. I am a chef and the founder of the gourmet coffee brand called Café Catalina (Catalina Coffee). As part of my childhood memories, I hold very close one of me playing with my cousins around a country house just like this one. Casa Catalina (Catalina Home) was built in 1950s by Jayuya's mayor at the time. Whenever I have free time, I stay here with my husband. It delights us to share this home with everyone that enjoys a quiet time in nature. As owners of Casa Catalina, my husband and I wanted to create, not only a stay, but an experience for anyone who comes here. We have left a selection of Café Catalina for your enjoyment. This premium coffee is produced from mature arabica coffee beans, which is completely harvested and elaborated in these mountains of Jayuya. If you'd like more Café Catalina, please let our project manager know and she will gladly provide it. If you choose one (1) of the "Premium Packages", you'll have your groceries already in the kitchen, a mystery brunch basket ready with a recipe, the meat ready to be cooked, or even get the full experience by having me cook an unforgettable dinner for you.
Enjoy my kitchen where I create delicious recipes all year long!
